Letter 3

Dear Sarah,

I can't thank you enough for sharing with me the beautiful journal from Moishey's Bar Mitzvah. I immediately shared it with my husband. We were both so moved. I hope it's okay if I share this with others. (Ed. Note: It certainly is! S.S.) I'm sorry that we've never had a chance to meet. You are such a special person. I had no idea that DSAU was basically a one-man operation. I figured there must be an entire organization behind such a publication. A huge Yashar Koach to you for all you've done. And now the Yeshiva program - WOW!!

From the letters included in the journal, I note that you have a beautiful supportive family. I am so pleased for you. I am sorry about the loss of your mother, who seemed to have played such an integral role in your life and in Moishey's life. I was especially touched by the tribute written by your friends.

I am often awed by the power of the written word. And yet, often the written word is totally inadequate to the task. If I would see you, I would share with you a warm hug and offer you my tears. When I see the strength of the human spirit, when I see what one person can accomplish, it impresses me so and inspires me tremendously. Boruch Hashem.

May Hashem continue to give you and your husband the emotional and physical strength to continue all your incredible work. And may you have much, much yiddishe nachas and joy from Moishey and all your family.

Wishing you all the best, and a huge thank you for sharing this with me. I will be forever grateful.

Fondly,
Miriam Lieberman
