SHMOS 15:14
The peoples heard, they tremble, convulsive terror have taken hold on the dwellers of Peleshes.

Commentary
When the nations of the world heard that the Egyption empire was destroyed and that their false Gods were judged they trembled. The inhabitants of Paleshes (the Philistine countries) were overwhelmed with fear because they had slain Bnai Ephriam* and feared the Jews would now avenge the killing of their brothers.(Mechilta)
*Bnai Efriam had miscalculated the time of redemption and therefore tried to escape years earlier. They were killed by the Palishtim.
