MAKING THE BRACHA ON TWO WHOLE LOAVES OF BREAD Before making the Bracha on the Challahs, father places them one on top of the other and takes them in his hands. He holds the bottom one closer to him, since he will slice this Challah first. Then he makes the Bracha(:) "Baruch...ha-olam ha-motzi lechem min ha-aretz".
