Prepare yourself before praying.Know that you are standing before Hashem.Concentrate on each and eery word.

"Our Rabbis taught, 'When a person prays, he must have in mind that he is praying to Hashem. (Brachos 31 A) True prayer, must com e from the heart. Whether a person davens slowly or says the words quickly, it has not hing to do with whether the prayers are accepted. A person should pray from the heart (Ri f). He should try to clear his mind of all thoughts that worry him. He should also try to understand what he is saying. (Ein Yaakov)
