Shimon Hatzaddik (the Righteous one) was the last of the Men of the Great Assembly. "The world is based on three things: the study of Torah, serving Hashem though sacrifices, and prayer (during the time of the Temple) prayer alone (in our days), and acting with kindliness." "Gemilus Chasadim" or acts of kindness include charity as we see in the third picture. It also includes visiting the sick, burying the dead, and many other ways of helping others.
